Student assistant for LGBT+ Denmark’s international team
Part-time position (15 hours per week on average)
LGBT+ Denmark is looking for a student assistant to support our international team with logistics and administration across our programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southwest Asia, North Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Caucasus. This position is well-suited for a structured, detail-oriented, and motivated student who thrives in a diverse and international environment.
About LGBT+ Denmark
LGBT+ Denmark is a national human rights organization working to advance equality and rights for LGBT+ people in Denmark and internationally.
Your key functions and responsibilities
- Assistance with grant administration, primarily through checking financial reports from partner organizations and verifying supporting documentation.
- Logistical support for international travel, events and partnership visits, including tasks such as booking travel, arranging accommodation, supporting with visa applications and coordinating with venues.
- Providing ad hoc assistance to the international team as needed.
We are looking for someone who
- Is currently enrolled in a university or vocational training (e.g. social sciences, public administration, accounting or similar).
- Has strong organizing skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
- Is proficient in using Excel
- Communicates clearly in English (knowledge of Arabic, Ukrainian, or French is an advantage).

Terms and recruitment process
- Period: 15 January 2026 – 30 November 2026 (with possibility of extension depending on funding).
- Location: LGBT+ Denmark’s office in Copenhagen.
