Are you engaged with LGBTIQ+ activism and/or volunteering in Denmark in an international perspective? Join our 1,5 days retreat workshop on Intersectional LGBTIQ+ engagement in Denmark!

The workshop:
The workshop aims to give participants keys to work as activists and volunteers in favour of more intersectional LGBTIQ+ rights. Participants will learn about intersectional tools and practices, reflect on activist engagement and explore their own identity in connection to their engagement.

Key themes of the workshop will be:
Engaging as/with non-danish activists and volunteers in Denmark, reflecting on privileges, language, racism, and SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, Sexual Characteristics).
The workshop will also be a space for activists and volunteers to meet together and exchange about their engagement and to enjoy a weekend learning and social retreat next to the sea.

Target group:
The workshop is designed specifically for activists and volunteers engaged in working with international LGBTIQ+ rights in Denmark. You should be interested in learning more about intersectionality and international cooperation around LGBTIQ+ rights. You can be part of a volunteer/activist group or be independently interested in the area of international and intersectional work for LGBTIQ+ rights.
We especially encourage LGBTIQ+ migrants engaged in activism and volunteer work in Denmark to participate.
All your expenses are covered by LGBT+ Denmark, including transportation, food and accommodation in single rooms.

Registration deadline:
We kindly ask you to register before the 15. of november 2021.
