LGBT+ Denmark is hosting our first international social café for LGBTIAQ+ internationals and non-Danish speakers.
It’s often difficult to find community and friends when you move to a new place and the pandemic really didn’t make it easier. So, this event is for you who maybe miss having a community here and we will do our best to welcome you.

This event aims to give you a time and space to get to know and connect with each other. Come and join the space for a chill time where you have the occasion to play board games, discover our LGBTIQ+ library or just enjoy some social time the way you like.
You can speak the language you are most comfortable speaking, and we will help each other out with communication, but the main language will be English.

It will be a sober event and we will offer some food and drinks during the evening. Everything will be for free.
You don’t have to sign up or anything, you can just show up. You can come alone or bring a friend, partner, or kids.
It is a casual event in which you are free to come and go as you please.
Since this is the first social event of its kind, we will figure out along the way how we will move on with this, depending on the needs and wishes from you all. One hope would be to form a small group of people who would like to organize these kinds of social cafés in the future as well.
If you would like to help or have any comments, wishes or ideas please write volunteer coordinator Kamille on e-mail [email protected]

There is access to LGBT + Denmark's premises via stair lift and a spacious elevator. There are level access or ramps to all rooms. There is a handicap toilet (without lift, we will get that soon). We have a nursery for babies and toys for kids.
We have light cutlery and cups and straws for those who need it. Please write or call Kamille if you have any questions or needs regarding accessibility before or during the event e-mail [email protected] or phone 60620869.
