Heine is team leader for the Knowledge & Outreach team. He is responsible for presentations and workshops for companies, orgatinasations, municipalities and professionals in different fields, such as the youth area. Additionally, Heine is project manager on the EU project ‘Space to be You’ and has the daily responsibility for the Aarhus office.

In her role, she supports advocacy in the international area, fundraising and partnerships, and professional development in the international team.

Lone is responsible for the organisation’s entire accounts, including the qualification of budgets and the financial reporting of projects, appropriations for operation and finances. She is also responsible for optimizing financial management processes including balancing sheet accounts and expense control.

Head of Volunteering and Communities

Steve has the overall responsibility of the organisations work with volunteering and communities in the organisation in collaboration with other LGBT+ actors and other civil society. He supports the volunteer coordinators in the national work with different volunteer groups and he is increasing the organisations engagement with grassroots politics.

Stella is working part time as archivist in the Department of Communication. One box at a time, Stella is digging, curating and archiving nuggets from LGBT+ Denmark’s filing cabinets, on the occasion of the association’s 75 year anniversary.

Amalie is the projectmanager for Care in the Community, which is a new violence prevention effort. The purpose of the project is to mobilize the LGBT+ community to jointly take care to prevent and deal with violence in close and non-close relationships between LGBT+ people. The project consists of an information campaign, upscaling of existing counseling services and community meetings across Denmark.

Eva works with psychological knowledge internally and externally in the association. She is responsible for external upskilling within the field of psychology with a focus on how, as a professional, you can improve the well-being of mentally vulnerable people who break with norms for gender and sexuality. In addition, Eva is project manager for our LGBT+ counselling services and also supports the association’s other offers with professional psychological skills.

As our diversity consultant, Julia is responsible for upskilling both businesses and educational institutions within the field of LGBT+ experiences. Through presentations and workshops Julia makes companies and educational institutions aware of how they can create a more inclusive framework for their employees or their students.

Julia has an educational background in teaching with additional educational training in neuroaffective developmental psychology.

Noah works with various tasks within Team Knowledge and Outreach as well as the communications team. He gives up-qualifying presentations and workshops for professionals about meeting LGBTQ+ people in their work. In addition he works to support the youth communities at Fyn and LGBT+ Denmark’s communication team.

Amanda manages the youth initiative Queer The Future: Three yearly, shorter seminars that invites young people to workshops, panel debates and presentations on activism, rights and democracry. She also coordinates volunteer groups on Sjælland as well as AURA København and Frederiksberg. Furthermore, she facilitates the network for local pride groups and organisations.

June is project manager for Safe in school – A volunteer driven queer-to-peer educational offer for schools. The project aims to increase well-being for LGBT+ students in the Danish schools and spread awareness about LGBT+ Denmark at our communities and councelling offers. The project includes youth from LGBT+ Denmarks youth community AURA in a national educational effort.

Kamille works to initiate and support events and activities for volunteers in Copenhagen, as well as to collaborate with other local LGBT+ groups on Zealand and Bornholm. In addition, Kamille is responsible for the Visiting Friends, which facilitates contact between volunteer visiting friends and LGBT+ people experiencing loneliness.

Sissel is the project manager for Togehter for LGBT+ rights, which engage the LGBT+ community and our members in our municipal political work and campaigns. The campaigns aimed at ensuring the well-being of LGBT+ citizens in local welfare. Additionally, she supports volunteers in the association’s various programs.

Stine is volunteer coordinator. She is working to support our volunteer groups and the AURA’s youth community at Funen and Jutland. Additionally, Stine is part of Team Knowledge & Outreach where she does presentations for professionals, focusing on how to secure the wellbeing for people who breaks with norms of gender and sexuality.

Flor is the project manager of the program Transit, which is a ocial conversation service for trans, nonbinary, and gender diverse individuals. In this role, they work to increase well-being and reduce minority stress, as well as support individuals in their explorations and considerations of gender and gender identity. In addition, Flor is also affiliated with the LGBT+ counseling service, with a special focus on the trans community.

Max is LGBT+ Danmark’s jurist and is responsible for qualifying the legal part of our work. Furthermore, Max has a supportive role in LGBT+ Danmark’s legal counseling and advices and represents LGBT+ people when to comes to family planning, parenthood and other legal matters.

Mohamed is LGBT+ Denmarks Law Student and is tasked with assisting and supporting legal efforts within the LGBT+ community. Mohamed also handles various tasks related to the organisations FRi-fund project, which promotes LGBT+ political issues and defends legal rights for LGBT+ individuals in Denmark.

Psychologist and Volunteer Coordinator

At LGBT+ Denmark, Tian works as a counselor on the project ‘Transitions Thoughts’. Additionally, he serves as a volunteer coordinator and supervisor for LGBT+ Denmark’s counseling services in the Jutland region. He assists in supporting the volunteer counselors, as well as facilitating their further training. Moreover, he is a psychologist and operates his own LGBT+ friendly practice in Aarhus.
